I'm working on modifying an '84 Honda Ascot and want to increase the rear suspension travel on it from the current 4.5" to about 8 or 9 if I can swing it.

First concern is with the u-joint though....

Tank apparently leaks, battery is long since dead, couple of broken turn signals and missing the right side cover. Other than that...it looks pretty decent...

Well, the Mighty XT is back on the road again. Got it all plated and insured today and took it out for a spin around town.

Only issue I had was this horrible rumble/vibration being reflected back...

I rebuilt and greased up the chain tensioner on it (previously seized up) to try and compensate for the arc the swingarm has to travel through now. Hopefully, that will help avoid the tension...
