My R is all black BTW, Starbucks customers probably wouldn't even be able to tell it's a KTM....

Changed the S for the R a yaer ago.

The R is perfectly fine on highways and road trips, not worse than the S at all.
I like the higher ground clearance and extended suspension...

I would assume HHC disengages when you kill the engine.
That would still allow you to leave the bike in gear and use the clutch for control when parking or turning on a sloped tight spot.
