Did the same thing.....

Tightened the axle clamping bolts before the lug.....simple mistake. Pulled the bike off the center stand, noticed the grinding when pushing the bike around the shop, and fixed the problem.

I noticed that the 950 SM does not have a separate tachometer. Does the speedometer display on this bike also display RPM info, or is the Supermoto just absent a tachometer?

On the side stand...

The manual says to do the adjustment while on the side stand.....so that is what I did. I never ride two up, but weigh 250 lbs. Luggage load is usually very light.

This is my normal setup. I only add the side bags for longer trips. The 1500 is nice on the top. It fits my briefcase with laptop pc, or dinner if needed.
