i do not know too much about the R v. regular tuono, but i have ridden the 1st gen tuono and the new speed triple. neither are decaffeinated!

the tuono i rode around for a day in...

when/if you wash your bike, take off the plastic gaurds and push the sides that clip onto the screw head together (sort of like a taco) and then release. they will hold tighter...
