I just bought a 2820 from another inmate. Is there any way to get new maps on it? I was told by Garmin that I can no longer buy the updated City Nav maps, but there has to be a way.

I have the exact same kit as the OP and mine works great. In order to keep it lit, I just have to keep the fuel valve (not sure if that is the official name!) adjusted properly.
