That sounds like something catching the ABS ring, perhaps the sensor too close ?
AFAIK, there is an ABS ring, but its inside the FD casing.

Just some feedback.
Problem was the spring steel doodad that stops the pads vibrating.
It had shifted and was preventing the pad from moving inside the caliper.
Fitted new pads while I was at it.....

I think the bars make it worse. The crash bar mounting bolt on the right, just above the cylinder sheared off
on my 1150 about 3 weeks ago. Since then the vibrations are not nearly as intrusive....
