Congats on the new bike. That first real ride will have to wait. I hate waiting. One of the good things about living where I do is that it is a barefoot at the park t shirt weather day in LA. I just...

I love the dedication to riding but at that point you might as well have a motor home. Although I'm sure they are having a great time. Richard

I have a 06 hex head I bought new. It has 54,000 pretty much trouble free miles on it. I wouldn't hesitate going out to the garage starting it up and riding to the east coast and back right now. I...

There is always a way to make things fun. If they make that not possible I have to work somewhere else. I don't know about them but I either get happy or get gone. You have got to love German...

Lane splitting

I commuted 150 miles a day lane splitting for years and there is nothing wrong with it. And yes as retarded as we are California I love that we can lane share. I got a ticket for it by a sheriff a...

Kohlenwerk

Funny I just googled hpn r80 and the best weight was 396 lbs . That's more weight, less power, less suspension. Good luck. Yes they are pigs and my hp2 is not my favorite single track bike but it is...

Kohlenwerk

This is the kind of thing that gets me to spend money. Now I don't have an r80 gs but I do have an hp2 and I'd be surprised if there was anywhere the 80 could keep up with the hp2. Richard.

I have an gs hp2 and a k1200r sport and both are great for what they do. If I could only have one bike it would be the gs. Not even a close decision. The GS is such a great all around motorcycle. I...

Hp2 suspension

I'll take my horrible hp2 suspension over a standard gs any day. That sure is a nice looking bike though. If they go at it the same way they did with the hp2 they might get me to buy again. Richard.

That's why I bought an hp2, much closer to a dirt bike. It handles and acts like a dirt bike but single track is not the same. Nice bike. I've been looking at one of those too. Richard.

I never actually checked the weight on my HP2 but the claimed dry weight was 389 lbs. This was the easy way to a sub 400 lb gs. Richard.
