Get the KTM for that use. The WRR is fine (I own one), but that's so dirt-biased that it's a no-brainer.

I prefer the KTM 500 for better on-road power and gearing, vs the 350.

It IS true, today. Things evolve, and nobody thinks of a 350lb twin-shock when someone says "dirt bike". That term, in 2014, means a 200-250lb off-road-only race or play bike. Sure, I use "dirt bike"...

I have weighed two different WRRs. One was 295, one was 294. Both had roughly half-full tanks of gas. One had handguards, both had Protaper bars, but were otherwise basically stock.

The EXC is WAY better than the WRR. I own a WRR and have seat time on a 500, and its a dramatically better bike once you start getting into technical stuff.

The WRR is much better than the DRZ off-road. It weighs 30lb less, but it feels like 50.

If the weather is nice, you could stay inland though PA, but it's unlikely. Try to hug the coast as much as possible, and it'll be a lot warmer. Get your mountain fix in Georgia, weather-permitting.

That's just ignorant. Plus, how is a WRR easier to ride than a KTM? I own a WRR and have ridden KTMs, and didn't get myself in any trouble at all. I highly doubt my dick has anything to do with that.
