I found the same thing, the Arai didn't fit correctly, and bought the DS. 9000 miles, and it works great. The only issue I have had is fogging up when using the chin curtain in cold temperatures....

Used them for many years, on many vehicles, never an issue. I do use their cleaners, oil, and grease. If the products are not used properly, your asking for a heap of trouble.

I had a similar issue with my 2005, and I had a broken centre stand pivot bolt.

However it looks like your centre stand has been "squashed" as its in further than it should sit on both sides....

I cannot comment on wet mud, as I have a tendency of falling off the bike in slippery conditions... I avoid deep wet mud, small guy, big bike = big hassle getting unstuck/upright.

The 2 was great, and find the 3 better. 9000 miles of road, gravel, and trails. Better in the dirt, and wet than the 2 IMHO.
