Exactly. Even my old BMW needs spline lubrication periodically, and it's a fairly large job. Lubing a chain just doesn't take very long at all. And I don't have to remove the swing arm to do it. ...

All I know so far is that the cams have to be removed to adjust the valves. However, I will be surprised if they need frequent adjustment. I think the clearance is measured without removing the cams..

Yeah. That's one of the first things I noticed. The "document holder" it turns out, is a plastic Ziploc. Pretty cool! They really went all out on that one.
