I'm thinking it means clunkier shift or should I say classic boxer shifting. I have a '14 GS and GSA. The GS shifts noticeably smoother.

I'm using the small bag and love it, I get the glare occasionally but get that with other bags too. Much better the bag on the previous version GSA with the zipper attachment to the bike.

The F800GS seat does not fit the Adventure model, but I am not sure about the other way around and I think it might work. I think it is a lot better than most stock seats, but probably not as good...

The stock guard is moulded into to plastic on the underside of the fairing. The altrider instructions have you bolt on top of the stock rad guard. Like CCHOC said, that is the same for 2013+ F800GS...

Sorry to hear that. I had a huge delay, seat that was "lost" for a while and poor communication too, but I did not get have a bounced deposit check. Shame too as the seats are generally pretty good.
