Percentage dirt

The document file pretty well lays out what is pavement and what is dirt.

The day from Anacortez to Mazama is all paved.

The days east of there are mostly dirt with some paved connectors.

I built TET-S.

Chip handles the distribution.

There are no gates on this route - it's all public roads - county, state or Forest Service.

It isn't just the cost for the maps... it's the security exposure of having my PayPal account and password used and stored on the tablet - which it does by default. Oh, and my REQUIRED Gmail account...

If you go through the Locus Store to get the OSM maps you pay for them.

You can get them for free, but you have to go to a different web site, down load them, copy them to the correct folder, and...

Actually, GPX files are MUCH bigger than GDB files.

On a file I have posted here, in GDB it is 1850kb, in GPX it is 10,082kb.

Can't do it with the file posted on ADVrider.

Gas at Ponca NE

Based upon feedback from other inmates I've updated the files to reflect gas availability at Ponca NE.

The waypoint has been changed as well as the gas distances in the documentation.

No to '84 or '85 XR200 engines

You really don't want to use either the '84 or '85 XR200 engines.

Those two years they were 4 valve engines - no more power, heavier, and MUCH less reliable.

Another option to the start

Check out the TET / TET-S routes here on ADVrider.

They are dual sport routes like the TAT and connect anywhere along the east coast to Tellico Plains to start the TAT.

They go near the bottom...
