It took 17 posts for "buttocks" to surface!

I agree with the poster that said decent seat and sheepskin pad. I have an old Alaska Leather sheepskin that was on my Honda ST1300, now on my camhead seat (25,000 miles and counting), works just...

No room for Fuzeblocks!

I have an old Centech AP-1 under the seat of my 2012 Camhead, in the tool tray. This is the third bike that's seen the AP-1 with only a dab of dielectric grease here and there to help things along. I...

Sometimes I carry a Nikon D200 with one mounted lens wrapped in a bag on the rear of the bike. That lens of choice could be the versatile 18-200, 12-24, or the simple 35mm f/2 (50mm equiv.) prime....

A nice addition to the GS.

I recently bought one of Dave's toolboxes for my 2012 camhead (non-GSA). I like to ride without the panniers mounted, but that leaves nowhere for tools and a puncture repair kit, so this toolbox is a...

Why no figment for the "old" air/oil 12GS? I would think there would be a market for the many thousands of those bikes.

Me too on a 2012 GS Camhead,

I took mine in for a warranty suspension replacement and the tech found the cam tensioner leaking (just over 20,000 miles). Oil wasn't as noticeable as the OP's photos though.

ESA Shock Failure

My rear ESA shock went out (2012 GS) at around 21,000 miles, and was replaced under the 36k/3yr US warranty. I don't think it failed just because it's ESA. The bike is/was ridden hard and loaded on...
