hard to tell from the photos, but does the tank use the airbox mounts built in to the frame? I assume maybe it does for the forward mounts?, but probably not the rear mounts because those are back...

I'm a hair under 6ft and I like the windscreen as it pushes the wind blast higher up on the chest, near chin level, and results in less fatigue when riding for hours at highway speeds.. looks OK too

The load index on those tires are 59 front and 69 rear which it sounds like your bike and load would exceed.. many of the shinko tires are on the low side for load and speed rating

Try comparing the 690 motor to the older LC4 (I had three of them) or the Husky TE 610 (had a pair of to those) if you want to hear loud, clackity motors with massive vibrations etc..
