Sent Speigler the old rotors and carriers. They cut the old rotors off and installed semi-floating rotors.
This was 1/2 the price of new BMW rotors and now I have much improved braking.

Thanks. I'll have a chance to ride Sunday. Before I go I'll pull the petcocks and check the filters. That'd be the easiest fix.
I'll also be sure to run it with BOTH petcocks open.

As to whether both petcocks were open, I typically run with the left on main and the right closed. I'll give it a try...

Air and fuel filters are clean. Always use Chevron Premium. Slowing down clears it up immediately.

Closing in on completing the RZ-RGV 350 hybrid and I find that the radiator has a leak.

Are there any bolt on brake upgrades for a 1988 R100RS? The bike has a koni shock, progressive springs and Avons. Handles nice, but it could use more stopping power.

Thanks for the lead. I managed to make it home after plugging the tire with the BMW plug kit. 400 miles and no leaks. Had a great ride back from the beach.
