Question Akropovic full system with Zega Special Set

Thinking of installing an Akropovic 2-1 full system on a 2005 R1200gs c/w Zega special set. Anybody out there running a similar set up? I am particularly concerned about possible can / pannier clash.

I've had that happen after a fall and discovered...

I've had that happen after a fall and discovered that the hand guard had rotated causing the lever to depress. It could be as simple as that.
