Your first post said you plan on 80% road 20% off road. I would say Sherpa hands down !

Add stainless steal exhaust to the Sherpas plus list.

I would add the 21"front and 18" rear tire size...

Nice write up!

I used 1/8th inch aluminium for the rear mount and ended up with about the same shape you have there. Then just a bolt and fender washers to hold the tank on the mount.

I had plans to fill that...

I used 20wt oil in the forks on my sherpa. I m about 200lbs. The 20wt really helped get rid of that mushy fealing.

I forgot to mention I did that. I used a spray bottle set on a very fine mist. I checked both the airbox and the head side of the carb. I tryed at idle and mid rpm range....
