My 640 Adv only left me stranded once. A NON OEM hydraulic clutch level broke when I went to select first at the lights. Snapped at the adjuster screw. Never use el cheapo levers again.

Ds the 450. You can't go wrong. That is, unless you don't want to change the oil daily, and rebuild the motor monthly. The 640? No problems - it's a true dual sport.
