Nice! In the "old" days, folks would ride whatever bike they had to wherever they wanted to go. Now a days, there is a special bike to go and do diff rides/places. Good for you on doing this.

some of those spacers are made of hard plastic but there are metal spacers as i have seen them at my mechanic's garage some time ago. best of luck with your fix. hope it turns out ok.
