twalcom/magura hydraulic clutch install
Since the instructions are only in Italian, I had to fumble through with Google translate. Magura will not help, since it is a kit assembled by Twalcom. After staring at all the bits for a while,...

twalcom clutch kit + tendonitis
I've had the twalcom kit for ~10,000 miles now (19K on the bike.)
It's probably 30% lighter than the stock clutch. I can now ride for several days without my tendonitis getting so bad I can't...

Nice accessory for the 36L cases
Just got back from a trip to Canada/AK, including a bunch of monsoon conditions. 36L cases held up like a champ! No leaks, no drama.
I thought I'd share this compression stuff sack - it fits...

High idle after 12K service 2011 F800GS?
Maybe I'm imagining it? It seems to be around 1100-1200 RPM now, I could swear it was lower before. What's the stock idle? Is there some re-learning period after an ECU reset? Or some other factor...

Minimal planning Alaska - June 2012
So here's my Alaska planning so far: 4 weeks + 2 weeks contingency, leaving June 1st from the San Francisco bay area on my F800GS. That's it.
So, what's the minimum I really need to do? I'm...

I have the twalcom/magura kit too. I also noticed the travel was less, googling around for the hymec on other bikes implies that is normal (10.5mm of travel.)
I guess the question is.. is it a...

pro-oiler anyone?
Not to argue the merits of automatic oilers.. has anyone done this install on an F800GS? There's some pictures on the pro-oiler site on an F650GS, but they are not very good.
Where'd you tap the...

Yeah, I got the 20" recently. Can't really report on it until the last week of the month, when I do a 1000 mile jaunt. The height/angle of attack is pretty critical, I've taken 3 passes at it so...
