Suggest the OP look into tuning. Also 16/45 gearing helps. The stock 16/42 is too tall.

Dampened CS sprocket is supposed to cut down on noise. Given that the big ADV is a noisy machine I can't say it would make much, if any, difference.

I noticed a few have also done their fronts.. in those cases are you running a rim lock?

There's no safety bead on the 21" front.
