I do the TKC 80 / Heidi combo on the GSA on the high passes and it's fine. The 70 doesn't seem too different than a Heidi on the rear. Knobbies on both make it more fun though.

I'm either getting a new gearbox rebuild or a new engine in my 2015 GSA with 6k miles...been gone two weeks now. False neutral throughout and never showing neutral on the dash when it was in neutral.

Your 1150 should be fine if you have good basic skills. We did it this winter in the mud, ice, and snow on two GSAWs and made it out alive. I wouldn't miss it and the 1150 may make it a fun...
