Recommended interval change 12,500 miles

Original factory belt broke at 20,000. Replacement broke at 42,000. Both on a Honda elite 250.

Always taking a chance on a new model. If it proves reliable over time maybe but if it's priced near the Honda, I'd go with the CBR. If it comes in substantially below the Honda I'd take a look.

I think they are beating the big four to the punch with this one with an affordable, low displacement, bag friendly ADV bike. Honda should follow with an ADV bike based on their CBR 300 single.

I found the Elite excelled in low speed maneuverability while capable of reaching a somewhat frantic 75mph. 75 is at the worst average for a 250. Sure it's no sport bike but it's not supposed to be.

It's significantly faster than the 2, 250's that I've owned. My old Honda Elite 250 topped out at 75mph and my current Daelim tops out at 74mph. Then again I remember when a 2006 gxr 600 left my 1988...
