I wonder if this is still necessary on the later models, as they have the harder shaft and modified seal. ?

its rally tyre, so good for hi speed pavement use, if I'm reading the tyre markings and speed table correctly there good to 170 kph.

I've had mine up to 150 and doubled the speed warning boards...

just fitted the guglemonster in neck filter, haven't had a chance to test fuelling times yet, but even if it takes a tad longer it will be worth it if it saves my fuel pump filters
