Just a tip - use 800 as a max width for your pics so the words don't disappear off the edge of the readers screen. Makes it hard to follow.

Aside from that - interesting ride so far. What a shame...

You have to take in Monument Valley west of Mexican Hat and then Grand Canyon. You could pick up the best parts of Route 66 by Kingman too. Not dirt, but still amazing.
