Thanks for the reply. The Primary Drive Countershaft Sprocket is thick for sure, but I think I can get it to work OK.

Things to look for

Engine should run quiet and smooth, no clicking or tapping.
Check for oil leaks and hits to the engine cases.
Suspension front and rear, good compression and rebound.
No leaks on front or rear...

I want a rack for the rear of my XRL650, you know the kind the bears have. Not to big, not to small, just right. and I would like to leave the oem tool bag on too.

Best bash plate out there I think is a DG Industries. I got one on my XR4 from Dennis Kirk. Comes on and off real easy. Kinda hard to find.

00 XR4 with snorkel removed, UNI filter, stock header, WB silencer.
Main jet 155 Pilot 52 Clip on third groove.
Runs great but I may pull the clip up to 2nd groove as I feel a little lean clipping...
