My '06 has the same issue. It's been into the shop at least four times now for it. Jumpy and lurching at slow speeds. Also I notice a similar jumpy-ness between 3,000 and 4,000 in gears 1-4.

Yup, it's the BMW dry bag. Keeps the water out very well, but is about twice as expensive as an Ortlieb about the same size. It also has a strange diagonal zip on it which is difficult once the bag...

Adventure comparison

I thought this was a good pic of the two BMW Adventure models side by side. My Pop (next to his R1150GS Adventure) is about 6'4", you can use that as a comparison for your size estimations. Cheers...
