I didn't think people would be so enthusiastic about a 400 pound dry weight with 48 hp, this would be comparable to the f650gs dakar.

What kind of engine and why? With Twins getting lighter and lighter, and adventure style thumpers not really changing all that much (G650gs, Yamaha Xt660z Tenere, both about the same weight as twins...

F650GS, its lighter than the single, about similar offroad capability, and it packs 70hp in a smooth twin... oh well it costs 10 grand though:wink:

Also I don't think there is one with great luggage capacity (strong sub frame) and a low weight.
