makes sense...I've worked with both hard and soft copper all my life, running refrigerant lines. Anytime the copper is overworked, it can split .Hard copper, much sooner.

I think this is a hold over from carburation.....fuel injection is more precisely metered. I cant see worrying about it. Short trips where it doesnt get up to temp...maybe.
