Rear brake comes on every time you use the front brake on the 1200 IIRC. Put it on the main stand start her up and pull on the front brake, rear wheel will be locked as well. Rear brake just works...

Factory lowered bikes have lower, shorter main and side stands. May be worth checking a standard one at the dealers to your lowered one. May have the wrong one fitted. Although BM would never do that...

Centre (fuel filler) section needs to come off first. Lots of secret screws on the GS LC and plastic by air intakes that need removing. TT USA has a picture of some of them on its install a gps info....
