FWIW - I just took the MSF Intermediate course over the weekend and got a chance to ride one with all of 32 miles on it and I was really impressed.

1) Replacing the needle or going with a complete rebuild kit? If memory serves (and it often doesn't) everything is wicked small so even a little blockage will kill you and possibly go un-noticed.
