I'm using the shorter MRA screen...at its fully extended state (shown) seems to diffuse the buffeting a fair amount over stock.I don't get those sharp wind hits anymore ..works very well below 70...

Have you checked them with a piece of plate glass or mirror with the forks on the bike?..you can also rig a dial indicator for reading the distance between the tubes..I've straightened my airhead...

I went the progressive/hagon route on my 79RS once...way too stiff IMHO for these loosey goosey bikes.....seems every bump would throw it off line. Ive gotten great results by removing all preload...

I dont think they came from the factory with topo loaded...you have to buy the cd....the nuvis dont have enough memory to load topo much more than a few states at a time anyway...even with a card.
