No picture here, but the forward bottom strap is close to the exhaust pipe.
It melted once, I wrapped it in exhaust wrap and it is holding up well.

Next time you change the oil , after draining the oil take the clutch cover off.
On the inside of the cover there is a hole were the clutch release pin sits in.

Could be old oil and time for an oil change or if you have more then 23-25k miles you might need a new clutch cover and release mechanism.

You can lay the bike on the side and take the cover off , not loosing any oil.

I found a front rotor from EBC Pro-Lite that was reasonable priced.
Today I checked the rear rotor , it is also warped.
