I like some of those parts, but the luggage guard seems like a bad idea. In a tipover with that setup minus guards the box will take the hit and probably transfer the force into the rack, bending it....

I downloaded the owners manual from the KTM website for the 1290 Super Duke. The chart in there lists the 9300 mile valve service as a one time interval, and then they get checked every 18600 miles...

I wrap my grips in Gamma gel tennis racket grip tape. Great track, soft, and the add a little girth to the grip. Feels perfect to me.
