I've gone down on pavement at high speeds wearing textiles and they held up quite well. I think this is a good thing. Leather is definitely the best way to go though, I do agree there.

The ice riding will definitely translate to the pavement. The great thing about Rally Tennessee is that it is not just a typical pavement ride. The roads are some of the nicest I have ever been on....
