Whoa you guys are making a hell of a big deal out of this. Most of us use both or none to match the situation. Calculating COG, drag collation really? Use which ever you like for what ever you need.

Like everyone else weight and flexibility. With a soft duffel it's lighter and if you have to you can cram more stuff in it. I use a top box too but mostly if I'm going to be in more populated areas...

Thanks for posting the pics keep meaning to post mine haven't got to it. I also put the reflctor tape over the box name, put a few on the box too. Oh yeah and some ADV sickers.

That's the one I got was the $19.00 one perfect size. There's a $29.00 one that's larger that I know would hold two helmets. I have it mounted ( the $19.00 one) I'll try and get some pics. to post....

I really like my TCX Gortex adventure touring boots light and comfortable waterproof and easy to walk around in.And they aren't so Frankenstein looking like the Sidi's just a nice looking boot.

Went to Lowes.com and my bad while it says Bostich in 2" letters it also says Stanley in 1/2" letters and would you know that's what Lowes list it under was Stanley. Here's a link hope it works for...

Just thought if anyone's intrested Lowes is selling a Bostich heavy duty black plastic tool box with a water proof lid seal for $29.00. Makes a nice inexpensive top rack box. Lockable also.
