Day ride on the 4th

I believe the owners manual says to check it at an Idle with the engine warm. Thats how I have been doing it and I've had no issues.

My choke was doing the same thing. check to make sure the screw is tight at the pivot point. There is a detent for each position and if its loose it will want to shut its self.

There was a better place to cross a little further back when the trail split. It wasn't quite so deep and smaller rocks.

Trail ride tomorrow?

I'm going to head up past sunset falls camp tomorrow afternoon to check out the #139 trail. I've never been on it but I think its the only way up to lookout mountain right now with all the snow...

I was actually impressed by how this bike handled on the freeway. Its just as stable as my DR650 was at high speeds. Maybe a little more vibratiin , but nothing I can't handle.:super

I have to disagree, I got mine out with a BFH. The right technique and a good punch set goes a long way. A BFG is not always the answer, but it can come in handy sometimes. A little KRIOL works...
