On my 2005 1200 GS, I use a car-based Garmin GPS, that I power through the BMW accessory plug. While riding, it will often power-off and then back on. I use this GPS in many cars...

alright, i inspected the carb--no problems that i could see (other than the slide is well-worn...prev owner didn't take care of the air filter regularly...???). cleaned everything up and put it back...

LC4 surging power on full throttle
