Cali DMV issues

MrGizmo, you have solved my DMV issue. I didn't know where that emission sticker was located till you mentioned it. Evidently, all I need to do is bring the bike back to the AAA office with the...

Cali DMV issues

Frog, the issue with the Cali DMV is that the bike was bought with an AZ title and has less than 7500 miles. 7501 miles on the clock and there would be no issue regardless of being either a 49 or 50...

Cali DMV issues

ToyAnvil. Yes, I've already confirmed that my '05 is indeed a 50-states machine using the VIN and engine #'s for that confirmation. And it does have the cannister intact. Just wondered if anyone here...

Gel seat

So I got the gel driver's seat and think the best part is how nice the stitching and color contrast look on the gel. It's a bit of an upgrade from stock in the comfort department in my opinion but...

Jesse mounts

The Wolfman luggage does fit the Jesse mounts just fine. Wolfman makes a trick mounting system for use on SOB (some other brand) frames. No issue with the exhaust. Install a tool tube to help with...

Jesse mounts

Hey Jim,

I did order thru Xplormoto a couple of months ago. Not seamless but okay. Dunno about the non-Jesse repping these days. Bob

racks for wolfman soft bags

I see the SW-Motech racks are also quick-released from the bike. I wonder if they are a better option? Mo Money for sure. I just want to hang some Wolfman soft bags off them and like the idea of...

Chiming in

I know the route fairly well but I'm GPS-less. I usually ride alone but this sounded like a good group and it's an excellent route. Scenic, fun, but not too technical. I'm an intermediate skilled...

In!

In for both days but camping solo in Blair Valley. Tiger 800 XC. Level 3. Happy to be mindlessly riding somewhere between lead and sweep. Will pay attention and sweep for a price. Homemade Bob

Recall tune

Sorry I wasn't clear. I wasn't charged for the recall or the bike wash. I'm just sayin' that I was well taken care of by my dealer and the dealer was reimbursed $14 by Triumph. Merry Christmas!

I took my 800XC with ABS/Arrow to the dealer for the updated tune today. As many have reported, the most remarkable improvement is the MUCH smoother on/off throttle response. So far so good with my...

NOT sacrifice the sweet drive-ability the current Tiger now has.
It's a delicate balance.

The BIKE staff also point out how much nicer the Tiger motor is to ride. Nicer character, smoother,...

I'm thinking the rivets will act as "shear pins" like on an outboard motor prop. One shears the rivets but maybe doesn't tweak the whole thing out of shape or break mounting points. It's easy enough...
