Yeah. Why keep the cap unlocked? It takes a second to unlock, you don't need the key to "re lock" it and people siphon out your gas in sketchy places.

Front brakes = flushed and fixed. I keep my perches loose and if i fall sometimes the brake line gets pushed tight against the bark busters and that undoes the banjo bolt and the DOT fluid leaks out....

Electrical - will check the side stand switch first, that side took a hard fall, and the side stand extender (hockey puck) fell off around the same time, so it might be the cause.
