I think the source of your FD problems lies in the repair procedure. First you must properly pre-heat the bearing. I used a pan of bacon.

Yep. There should be a check valve in that line. Put the T into the line before the valve. That is, when you get the T in there it should be on the engine side of the valve, not the airbox side.

Vac fuel pump report

Well, after the first couple tanks of dead dinosaurs I'll declare the vacuum pump a success. No problems with wheelies, or extended hi speed runs.
