Rebuilt carb on a 2003 640 adventure last month.
Used all new seals and an extended fuel screw from Motolab of course.
Everything worked as it should.
Fast forward to this morning....

Make sure the doughnuts are mounted the right way on the frame. The metal side should be facing out. Otherwise they will be too far outboard. Don't ask me how I know :lol3

Pissed 2002 LC4 bearing noise

So I think it's the clutch bearing and I pull the basket off. The original bearing with 16K miles is smooth as silk. The noise is coming from that side and sounds just like the good ole dry clutch...
