I've just turned 3000 miles on my bike and its everything its advertised to be. Better seat, and suspension. Handles a little better than previous generation. Noticed also handle bars are less buzzy...

Try 80/90 gear oil it will extend the life of your chain by 3 or 4x Its a little messy but works !

Just traded in the old GS on a black/grey KLR. This is my second KLR and I love it. The suspension is definitely firmer, almost too much so, but I'll see after I break it in more, only have 350 miles...

Well I just picked up a new KLR and traded in the GS. I must say the price was right and I love the improvements on the KLR. I have ridden an 08 and owned an 01. Very happy!
