I can tell you that I made side plates and got a top plate for my trail tech light. It was a nasty rats nest back there and unless you make plates or figure another way to cover it it will look bad....

I agree with Red, mixing the AC and DC sounds problematic, if you want a lighter flywheel it might be better to just take weight off of the XRL, just make sure the shop that does it can balance it...
