Pretty close to that too, about 40-45 or so jetted for 4K. I live at 6700 but 4K is great for everything around here, desert, and won't bog down even at 8 or 9K in the mountains..

Is this what you're referring to? is your bike burning transmission oil?

Yup, right after. I wish I took a photo of the head. Two exhaust valves definitely bent. the piston and cyl look totally fine though. Same thing happened to a friend and he needed a whole new head...
