I've seen M/C rated oil at Auto Zone. Also, The Motorcycle Shop has bulk Kawasaki oil. Take in a "growler" for them to fill if you want to save a few bucks.

If the ride is more important than visiting your friends, the ride to Valdez is fantastic.

check tires

I would take a tire pump of some sort. One or both of the tires may be low on air pressure from setting. Make sure you have the tools to remove the seat to get to the battery. Those side panels...

Rental information update

Just a point of clairification: We allow most of our bikes to travel beyond the Arctic Circle, with a surcharge for the extra wear and tear, extra cleaning, ect

45' connex for sale

guide pin

The guide pin should not need to be unscrewed to get the caliper apart. I have gotten into the habit of lubing both guide pins every time I have the rear wheel off the bike.

The dealer needs to have one in his/her approved order bank. It can take several weeks for that bike to go into production. I just modified an R1200GS Adv for our rental fleet with the Anchorage...
