I had my dealer order me one for the Tiger Explorer 1200 its shorter and much more stiff they installed it and said it was tight going on and advised me to carry mine for a spare in case it breaks....

I would change the bushings and the bolts and if you have a castle-nut with a cotter pin I'd order the self torquing one from pro cycle makes chain adjustment a snap....be sure not to over tighten...

Yep been there it's a huge difference from stock, I ordered the stock ones but wound up with the high bends hope they are not to high or wide for my liking my other bike has a MX bar they feel fine...
