If one of the new guides was not sized properly, it might have stuck once it warmed up. If so there should be telltale marks on the stem, slight metal transfer.

Main jet sizing can vary a little, I prefer a richer primary carb than secondary it gives me better throttle linearity I feel.

The left carb is different from the right in the fact that it has the pilot circuit and the right does not. The throttle slide cutaway is different and the idle speed screw is only on the left side....
