Know what I've discovered? MY annoying clank is the damned side stand weighted down by the Altrider side stand foot. Special bonus--sometimes it drops far enough to kill the engine.

+1 on the Protaper Contours. For those not running heated grips, you SHOULD be running these bars at ANY bend. Have em on the CRF, had them on the R1150GS when the heated grips got tiring.
