And don't hug the bike with your boots or legs. You want to be loose enough on the bike that it can move underneath you without throwing you around as it follows the terrain.

I believe the later 225s have a load shedding relay that diverts power from the headlight to the starter, earlier 225s, that have a 35 Watt headlight don't have it (I think).

That is the standard I use (it's not a rule), but I consider the winner to be the first non sandbagger in the class, and I cut the novice and beginner classes a little slack.

A friend of mine has a Freeride in the great white north. He found that the spark arrestor for the 2 stroke enduro models fits right in the Freeride muffler.
